Review of Carol's Bird Toys

Carol makes some of the most awesome and generous toys we've ever seen.

These appropriately sized toys range from the "baby toys" (for small birds) to the gigantic macaw challengers that are over 4 feet in length.

She uses brilliant human grade food coloring on the wooden shapes and spools, sturdy multicolored acylic and wooden beads, and vegetable tanned leather on the toys made with safety in mind. Some of leather is laced together to form "shoes", other pieces are braided or knotted, while others are left in strips and pieces. A wide assortment of textures, shapes, lengths, and materials contribute to the outstanding quality of the toys. Some toys hang from leather strips while others use safe quick links.

On a "baby" sized toy we have, the toy measures over 14" in length and has beads, spools, wooden shapes, leather pieces and knots, and a cute red leather shoe complete with a tiny leather shoelace. My tiel has spent many happy hours trying to untie, unlace and destroy it. The toy only shows a little wear after weeks of torture.

The larger toys are absolutely huge with brightly colored multiple strings of colorful wood slices and chunks, beads, leather strips, and many other items. Bear in mind that some of the largest toys are heavy and may not fit into a normal cage.

Carol's Bird Toy swings are not just swings either. They, too, have lots of different items to chew, unravel, destroy. The swings are very generous in length and give the bird an excellent opportunity to climb as well as swing.

Carol's Bird Toys are very reasonably priced, well constructed,
and have been fun for all of our birds.
Each toy has multiple textures, colors, and various types of things strung together
to produce some of the best toys on the market.
