Feathered Blessing
by Antonia Stampfel (from an idea by Joan Rae)
This article originally appeared in SQUAWK, the newsletter of the Big Apple Bird Association and is reprinted with permission.
When I have so much to learn
And I question all my plans
When I don't know where to turn
And nobody understands
Feathered blessing from the sky
Flies into my heart and hands.
Then I rise, and tell myself
"This must be the hardest part"
Feathered blessing from the sky
Flies into my hands and heart.
