Hazards

We received this list of hazards this month from Dawn Gruber. As she says, it's impossible to list all the hazards. However, we have decided to start an ongoing list which will be published each month. Please submit your most feared hazards.

Air Fresheners, both solids and sprays
Amarylis
Apple Seeds
Apricot Pit
Avocado fruit and pit
Batteries (contain lead)
Bird of Paradise (Flowering Plant)
Boric acid.
Cherry pits
Chocolate
Coffee
Costume jewelry (often contains lead, especially older costume jewelry)
Cosmetics (most are oil based)
Foil on champagne and wine bottles (contains lead)
Glazed Ceramics (may contain lead)
Hand lotions (alcohol and oils)
Linoleum contains lead
Liquor
Mirror Backing (contains lead)
Moth Balls
Nail Polish remover
Peach Pit
Pear Pit
Paints unless stated "childsafe"
Plaster (contains lead)
Perfumes, colognes
Stained glass framing (the metal holding the stained glass together contains lead)
Rubbing Alcohol
